Amcha Ghar, a home for little angels is dedicated to helpless female children, irrespective of their religion or caste- who are susceptible to the vulnerable conditions of living on the street. The home aims to educate the girls in an English medium school, to train and transform them into skilled adults, who are able to live an independent life in the main stream of society. The house began with three children and is now home to 25 and many more reunited to the main stream society. They are listed among the leading students and are known for their loving nature and discipline. The main objective is to give them an opportunity in life that protects them from falling in to the clutches of the darker side of society.
Amcha Ghar was inaugurated and established on April 14, 1996; special thanks to all the social workers, lawyers, doctors and well wishers, who joined hands to give birth to this unique project.
Amcha Ghar is a Residential Home located in Uttan Village, approximately 7-8 kilometers from the city of Bhayander. It facilitates to provide resources for the development of destitute girls from all over India. The main thrust of this organization is to educate children in an English Medium School. Amcha Ghar’s goal is to provide its beneficiaries the valuable education, that will produce a self-sufficient individual, so that they can get adjusted to this fast paced and competitive world. Children who are complete orphans (have no parents & relatives) are supported by us till they get married & settled.
Amcha Ghar has successfully completed more than two decades of journey towards its goals.It works as per the rules & regulations of the J J Act. Presently, it has 25 beneficiaries, who are sanctioned by the Child Welfare Committee (CWC).
Amcha Ghar is registered under Societies Registration Act 1860 – GBBSD-793 & The Bombay Public Trust Act 1950-F 18909. It avails the licenses of Women and Child Welfare, ISO Certified (9001:2008), FIT Institution C.W.C, J.J Act.
