About :

Amcha Ghar believes in providing education to the grassroots level of the society with an aim to empower them and to eradicate poverty, unemployment, child labor and many other things, which is the root cause of all problems. Therefore, Amcha Ghar started its own school known as the Amcha Ghar School on the 17th of June 2002, and later on opened 6 branches of pre-primary schools (kindergarten on rent). The school is owned and managed by the Amcha Ghar Trust itself and is located in Uttan, Bhayander(w); 10 minutes walking distance from the residential home. The school’s patron is St. Jude. It is a coeducational school, which respects and dignifies each individual and is accredited to Maharashtra Govt. The school also holds an “A” grade, due to its good documentation quality and scholarships for poor students.  It provides English Medium education to Amcha Ghar beneficiaries and the underprivileged community children of nearby villages; otherwise, they would have been devoid of a good education. The school also gives the students the opportunity to compete with city students in events and the teachers undergo training on a regular basis. The school is now granted permission of Junior College for Arts, Commerce & Science.
